DC and Warner Bros. has officially announced the sequel to the superhero brawler, Injustice 2, and a new trailer shows off Batman, Superman, The Flash, and others sporting fancy new armors.
Following the events of Injustice: Gods Among Us, Batman and his group of superheroes continue to battle against Superman’s regime, in hopes to rebuild society while the Man of Steel himself attempts to regain power.
“In Injustice 2, we are introducing new features that will change the way fans play fighting games,” states Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios’ creative director, in an official announcement. “We’re always interested in pushing the genre forward and allowing players to customize and level up their favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains is a significant leap.”
Injustice 2 will be coming Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2017.
