iPhone 7 Rumored To Have A Bigger Battery And Headphone Jack
Another day, another iPhone rumor for Apple users to dissect and mull over. A report from GSMArena seems to indicate that the iPhone 7 might support a headphone jack after all.
Based on a leak from French website Nowhereelse, the leaked picture of an (unverified) iPhone 7 innards shows a connection port for a 3.5mm headset jack, similar to what the iPhone 6s currently sports.
A different leak from Weibo reports that the iPhone 7 will sport a bigger battery as well. If the rumors that the iPhone 7 replacing the headphone jack with a second speaker is true, then the bigger battery could help give it the extra power.
The battery for both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will purportedly be 1735mAh and 2810mAh respectively, which puts it slightly higher than the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus at 1715mAh and 2750mAh but lower than the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus at 1810mAh and 2915mAh.
To be clear, both rumors are still unverified so take it all with a grain of salt. Would you pick up the iPhone 7 or you rather wait for the rumored all-glass iPhone 8?
