The end of an era is here. Kobe Bryant finally ends his illustrious 20-year career with a record-breaking personal score in his final match ever, against the Utah Jazz.
The 37-year-old will have capped 1,556 games throughout his time with the Los Angeles Lakers during which, he managed to become a five-champion with a legacy of a 25.0 scoring average.
Wednesday night saw Bryant break another record by scoring 60 points (a resounding 23 points in the final quarter), leading to a 101-96 win against the Utah Jazz.
When Bryant announced his retirement in November 2015, it wasn’t a shock to most fans and industry expert as he had been suffering injury issues the past few years. Nevertheless, it didn’t make his final game any less magical as it ended in a way that fans will never forget.
