Koei Tecmo Announces Next Nobunaga’s Ambition Game

Koei Tecmo Games has revealed Nobunaga no Yabou: Shinsei, or Nobunaga’s Ambition: Rebirth, the next installment in the Nobunaga’s Ambition series. A trailer was dropped along with the announcement. Take a look at it below:

Nobunaga’s Ambition is a turn-based strategy video game first released in 1983 in japan. The series loosely adapts historical simulations predominately focusing on the Japanese historical figure Oda Nobunaga, a warlord present during the Japanese Warring States Period. While the name of the game is Nobunaga’s Ambition, playing as the character is optional, and players may choose from a variety of other regional diamyo of the time.

While details of the game is scarce so far, we look forward to how Koei Tecmo plans to rebirth this game series. We’ll keep you up to date with any news we hear. While we know that the game will launch sometime this year, there’s still no word on which platform it will be on.
