Koei Tecmo Reveals New Trailer for Fairy Tail JRPG for Steam, PS4, and Switch
During the New Game + Expo, Koei Tecmo showcased a new trailer of the upcoming Fairy Tail JRPG by Gust, the developer of Atelier. We get to see gameplay, cutscenes, characters, features, and even bikinis. Check it out below:
The trailer focuses on the fully realized town of Magnolia which is home to the Fairy Tail guild. Players will be able to explore the town as well as enter some of its memorable areas such as Lucy’s home. Additionally, players will be able to switch their main character and explore as any of the available party members.
Fairy Tail will focus on Natsu and the Fairy Tail guild as they fight against a variety of enemies on the mission to become the best guild in Fiore. During battles, players can form parties of up to five mages, who can combine their power to unleash unique magical attacks across a three-by-three battlefield grid.
Players will need to strategically consider which magic is best suited for various situations. Furthermore, players can utilize a special Magic Chain attack where each character launches magic followed by a finisher. The game features 12 playable characters who each have unique magical abilities.
Fairy Tail is slated to release for Steam, PS4, and Switch, and has just been delayed to July 30 for Europe and July 31 for North America. Get the game when it comes out with our Steam Wallet Codes, PSN cards, and Nintendo eShop gift cards below:
