Latest Nintendo Switch Update Adds Video Capture and Save Transfers
Nintendo has launched a new update version 4.0.0 for the Nintendo Switch which enables video capture and the capability to transfer user profiles and save data to another console.
Starting on October 18th, the video capture feature will only be available to four games: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, and Splatoon 2 thus far.
Players can access the video capture feature by holding the console’s dedicated capture button and 30 seconds of gameplay will be saved into the console’s album. In the album, video clips can be edited and shared easily on Facebook and Twitter.
This feature however is a permanent single migration of user data. Once the migration process is initiated and complete, the user information, the associated save data, and the software purchased with the user account that is transferred will no longer be available on the source console.
