LeBron James Leads Cleveland Cavaliers To An Astounding NBA Title Win
In an amazing performance in game 7 of the N.B.A. finals, Cleveland Cavaliers clinched a nail-biting win over the Golden State Warriors with a 93-89 victory.
Standing at the top of the mountain is LeBron James who performed at a superhuman level, giving himself a triple-double with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, cementing his place as the final’s most valuable player.
“I came back for a reason,” James states. “I came back to bring a championship to our city. I knew what I was capable of doing. I knew what I learned in the last couple years that I was gone, and I knew if I had to — when I came back — I knew I had the right ingredients and the right blueprint to help the franchise get back to a place we’ve never been. That’s what it was all about.”
Bring the championship they did. Not since 1964 had Cleveland brought back a major sports title to their city and the Cavaliers managed to do so with a dramatic flair at Game 7 with Kyrie Irving’s 3-pointer that gave them the resounding 93-89 lead.
