Square Enix and DONTNOD have announced a partnership with Legendary Digital Studios to produce a live-action digital series of Life Is Strange.
The announcement came via Legendary who posted the news on their Digital Studios web page regarding the project, which follows the story of “photography enthusiast Max Caulfield, a high-school senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price.”
Greg Siegel, Senior VP of Development and Production for Legendary Digital Studio will be spearheading the project while collaborating with Square Enix and DONTNOD Entertainment in creating the live-action series.
“Life is Strange is one of those rare properties that combines incredibly developed characters and storylines with deeply engaging,” Siegel states. “It lends itself perfectly to live-action imaginings. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Square Enix, DONTNOD Entertainment and dj2 (Entertainment) to bring the world of Arcadia Bay to life in an exciting new way.”
In other news, the Life is Strange: Episode One is now available to download for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Mac and PC.
