Lost Ark Gets Legion Raid

Valtan, the first Legion raid in Lost Ark, will be available on western servers later this month.

Developer Smilegate confirmed in a new blog post on the game’s official website that the first Legion raid, described as “difficult team-based activities that require teamwork to comprehend and execute the approach needed to combat each Legion Commander’s distinctive features, attributes, and gameplay,” requires an item level of 1415 for normal difficulty and 1445 for hard difficulty.

A new rarity tier is also introduced during the Valtan raid. Crafting materials obtained during the raid may be converted into relic gear, which includes accessories with additional engraving nodes. That may not sound like much, but it impacted the feasible builds for certain advanced classes in Korea. The DPS paladin build, for example, is heavily reliant on relic gear.
