Mafia 3 New Trailer Puts The Spotlight On Main Character Lincoln

The storied past of Mafia III‘s new main protagonist Lincoln Clay gets the spotlight in a new trailer, “Lincoln Clay – The Soldier”, where the anti-hero’s past and motivations are highlighted.

“In ‘Lincoln Clay – The Soldier’ get an inside look at the motivations of Lincoln, a man robbed of his family. Orphaned at an early age and raised on the streets of New Bordeaux, he fell in with the black mob. Now, back from Vietnam, his adoptive family has been wiped out by the Italian Mafia – and Sai Marcano will pay with everything he holds dear. The Mob is about to learn that family isn’t who you’re born with, it’s who you die for.”

Taking place in fictionalised 1968 New Bordeaux, Mafia III is the third iteration of the Mafia franchise by 2K and is being developed by a new developer Hangar 13. It features an open-world location inspired by New Orleans with combat and gameplay that improves on past Mafia games.

Mafia III is scheduled for release on October 7 and will come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
