Piranha Games announced that MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will launch on September 10, 2019.
The studio released a new trailer that showcased the game’s gameplay, mechs, and even destructible landscapes. At 2017 MechCon, Piranha stated MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries would launch with four-player co-operative multiplayer and complete with mod support. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries takes place during the Third and Fourth Succession Wars and players will be managing a small Mercenary outfit. As the unit leader, players will have to deal with choices to make on which mercenary contracts to take, where in the galaxy they ought to focus their efforts, and also managing resources to upgrade and fix their units.
