Meet CoWatch, The Most Affordable High-End Smartwatch
With all the different companies rolling out their smartwatches, the choices can be overwhelming for a smart wearable. As of date, you can have your choice of the Apple Watch, Android Wear smartwatch, Pebble, and Samsung’s Gear S.
Now you can add another contender to the ring with the CoWatch, the most affordable high-end smartwatch.
iMCO, the company behind CoWatch, has just launched it Indiegogo fund and looks to raise $80,000 for its goal. At $159 (for early backers), the CoWatch looks to be quite affordable while still packing quite the internals.
With the price, here’s what you get for the CoWatch:
- Dual-Core Processor 1.2 GHz and 300 MHz
– 1GB RAM + 8GB Flash Memory
– Super AMOLED High-Res Display, 400×400 pixel, 286PPI
– Stainless Steel & Zirconia Ceramic Body
– Gyrometer / Accelerometer / Magnetometer
– Heart Rate Sensor / Vibro Motor
– Water Resistance
– Up to 32 Hours of Battery Life in Always-ON Mode
– Brand New Cronologics OS
– Intelligent Voice Interaction with Amazon Alexa
– Connectivity with iOS 9 and above / Android 5 and above
– Bluetooth Audio Control
The CoWatch measures at 0.48 inches, which is quite thick compared to the Apple Watch (0.41 inches) or the Pebble Round (0.29 inches). Yet, with the zirconia ceramic and stainless steel look, the CoWatch is no doubt stylish for its price.
If the CoWatch reaches its goal in Indiegogo, expect it to ship out around June for early backers. After that, the CoWatch will retail at $179. Want to back the project? Head over to their Indiegogo page here.
