Mega Yarn Yoshi is coming to Nintendo

If you thought that the 8-bit Mario Amiibo from E3 was huge, you ain’t seen nothing yet: Mega Yarn Yoshi is coming to take the “biggest Amiibo” crown. The beautiful toy you see above is an officially licensed, super-sized version of the popular Yarn Yoshi Amiibo. It’s a fully-functional NFC figurine, so players will be able to use its foot to interact with various Wii U titles. It’ll activate the “Double Yoshi” feature in Yoshi’s Woolly World or create an AI fighter in Super Smash Bros.

Nintendo will also release the standard Yarn Yoshi Amiibo Oct. 16 alongside Yoshi’s Woolly World. The game will cost $49.99 on its own, and it will also be available bundled with a green Yarn Yoshi Amiibo for $59.99. The three Yarn Yoshi Amiibo — green, pink and light blue — will cost $16.99 each.

The bigger Yoshi Amiibo has a higher price tag to match its size. Mega Yarn Yoshi, which will only be available in green, will be released Nov. 15 for $39.99.
