Minecraft: Pocket Edition updates will delayed until August
Sad news for all Minecraft: Pocket Edition fans out there, the major update for Android and iOS devices will be postponed until August.
Microsoft has been teasing the next major update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition for a few weeks now. The update was meant to aligned with the release of Window 10 and Minecraft’s updates for Windows 10, which will be available on July 29.
According to Mojang’s Tommaso Checchi, the company wanted to release the new updates of Minecraft: Pocket Edition on July 29 but decided to put it on delay due to the updates like enchanting, music and controller support are not yet ready for release.
So, we actually wanted to release MCPE on the 29th, but it would have no Enchanting, Music and Controller support… so August, hopefully 🙂

Besides that, Mojang’s Tommaso Checchi gave us some sneak preview on what they are working on. He has added one O button that when double-tapped can make your character crouch. Which should make gameplay easier for mobile gamers.
Okay, what do you think about these controls? The O button can be double-tapped to toggle crouching! pic.twitter.com/rsz2ko9YGg
