Square Enix revealed the Japanese release date and a new trailer for their upcoming mobile game NieR: Re[in]carnation. Check out the trailer below:
We learn that the game is releasing in Japan on February 18, 2021 for iOS and Android. On top of that, the trailer reveals a launch crossover with NieR: Automata. The collaboration will bring popular characters YoRHA 2B, 9S, and A2 to the new mobile game. It will launch at the same time as the service. A western release is also planned but no concrete date has been announced.
In NieR: Re[in]carnation, players are led by a floating character named Mama throughout a world called The Cage on a mission to collect pieces of weapon’s memories. Players will go back and forth between The Cage, which is rendered in 3D, and the weapon’s memories, which are played in 2D.
