New Paladin Hero For Hearthstone (But Only If You Played WoW… Again)
Blizzard has just announced the latest hero to join the deck in Hearthstone. The Paladin, Lady Liadrin, will be part of your deck, only if you played World of Warcraft after March 11th and level up a character to level 20.
That’s right. If you want to receive the new Paladin Hero for Hearthstone, you’ll have to jump back into World of Warcraft and play a character until it reaches level 20 to receive the Fledgling Hero of Warcraft Achievement and unlock the card.
While it’s definitely a great marketing technique by Blizzard to repopulate WoW, the fact that the achievement doesn’t retroactively unlocks makes it quite the hassle for WoW players that have put hundred of hours into the game.
One could simply ignore the card and just opt not to get it but, who are we kidding, Hearthstone players know that they want the complete set and will have to power through a session in WoW just for this.
If you do decide to jump back into World of Warcraft, why not pick up some Battle.net Gift Card at OffGamers to make the grinding easier? Or if you prefer to keep your focus on Hearthstone, you can check out the upcoming Whispers of the Old Gods expansion that’s coming soon.
