Nintendo has announced a release date for one of its next big Switch exclusives. New Pokemon Snap will arrive on April 30th. Nintendo also released a brand-new release date trailer to celebrate the release date announcement, which you can check out below:
A spin-off of the classic Nintendo 64 game, New Pokemon Snap takes players to the Lental region where they can explore various islands and snap photos of Pokemon in the wild. The photos you take will build up your Photodex, and Nintendo promises that you’ll be able to discover new, never-before-seen Pokemon expressions and behaviors.
As with the previous game, New Pokemon Snap is an on-rails adventure. Your auto-driving NEO-ONE vehicle will guide you along as you take pictures. Players will be able to interact with Pokémon by throwing a Fluffruit, a tasty fruit found across the region, to catch their attention or watch them eat. You can even use this fruit to help draw out Pokémon into a variety of situations to see how they react.
