Square Enix announced that NieR: Automata, 2017’s hit action RPG, has sold over 4 million copies across PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC. To celebrate, Square Enix released a new NieR: Automata trailer.
Based on official report, the early 2017 release Nier: Automata shipped 1 million copies in its first month, sold 2.5 million by March 2018, and passed 3 million shipped last June. With the release of the game’s Xbox One version and Nier: Automata Game of the Yorha Edition, Square Enix managed to improve its sales further since December 2018, when the studio announced it had crossed the 3.5 million milestone.
