Nintendo’s online service for the Switch will comprise access to a choice of classic games from the NES era will be available in September. Nintendo has announced a number of the games which are going to be included as part of the Nintendo Switch Online classic games selection.

To subscribe, it will cost $3.99 per month, for three months is $7.99, $20 per year, and $34.99 per year for a family of up to eight people. The family package even works on multiple Switch devices. But the biggest additions of the Nintendo Switch Online come in the form of the Nintendo Entertainment System compilation and cloud saves.

The NES games will include online play, such as online competitive or cooperative multiplayer as part of Nintendo Switch Online. Players can watch their friend’s play on single-player games online, and also pass the controller at any time. Every classic NES game will support voice chat via the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app. It will also be possible to access these games while offline.
