The Nintendo Switch is not just a portable handheld, it doubles as a home console too. In just 10 months, over 4.8 million Switch units were sold and Nintendo totally dominated the console market. Much of the allure lies in the way the device can easily switch from being a home video game console into a readily portable gaming device in a matter of seconds.

When the Switch was launched, Nintendo even released a few great games to support the device in its first year, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and more. Nintendo Switch is also has some of the best multiplayer games on the market, and you can run the games anywhere you’d like to play with friends and family.

In terms of pricing, Nintendo Switch is sold for $299.99 at launch, $100 cheaper than the PlayStation 4 with $399.99 and much lower than the $499.99 price tag of the Microsoft’s Xbox One. One thing for sure is that Nintendo seems to be making all the right decisions for the Nintendo Switch.
