Nintendo’s Announces Delays For Pokémon GO Plus Accessory
If you’re hoping to pick up the Pokémon GO Accessory at the end of the month, think again. Nintendo recently announced on their official Twitter account that the Pokémon GO Plus release has been pushed to September 2016 instead of the end of July.

The device, which costs $34.99, connects to a smartphone and helps Pokémon GO players perform various actions of the game without needing to take out the smartphone itself. Some of those functions include the ability to alert players of a nearby Pokémon and PokéStops by vibrating the device along with a flashing LED.
The need for Pokémon alerts is one that Pokémon GO players have been yearning for as the constant usage of the screen have been causing battery drains and even injuries to players as they are too busy staring at their phones.
For now, you’ll have to wait until September to grab yourself a Pokémon GO Plus accessory or use the many workarounds available, which come with its own risk.
