
It’s that time again, OffGamer’s Monthly Games Introduction for April is here! If you’re new to this series, every month we’ll be showcasing some of the top games coming out on all platforms, from PC to Nintendo Switch, and even mobile! Without further ado, here are our recommended video games for this month:
Outriders – 2nd April (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S)

April starts off with a bang with Third Person Looter Shooter Outriders! In this game, Earth has lost it’s ability to sustain life. In a desperate bid for survival, Mankind has identified the planet Enoch as the last, best hope for survival, and dispatched colony ships to establish a settlement on the distant planet.
You play as an Outrider, a member of the advance team that will first land on Enoch to determine the viability of the planet for human survival. When a horrible accident occurs that kills off most of the outriders and colonists, you are infected with an unknown virus and placed into cryogenic sleep. When you wake up, the colony has been caught in a civil war and you will have to find a way to survive with the help of your new found powers.
Outriders will be available for PC on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Oddworld: Soulstorm – 6th April (PC, PS4, PS5)

Developer Oddworld Inhabitants are pushing the boundaries of platforming with their upcoming Action Adventure game Oddworld: Soulstorm. Play as Abe, a reluctant hero who sparked an uprising and must now lead his fellow Mudokons in a fight for freedom from their planets ruling power and Magog Cartel.
The game combines scavenging, crafting, platforming, and stealth into a platformer with a 2.9D epic environment. While the gameplay is still reminiscent of traditional side-scrollers, the map will twist and turn at certain points to allow players to feel more immersed in the Oddworld.
Oddworld: Soulstorm will be available on PC on Epic Games Store, PS4, and PS5.

SaGa Frontier Remastered – 15th April (PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android)

Relive the 1998 RPG Classic Saga Frontier with the new remaster from Square Enix. This rendition of the old classic brings with it improved graphics, additional features, and even a new main character.
SaGa Frontier brings players to a universe called The Regions, a group of worlds with varying degrees of culture, races, technology, and magic. Play as one of eight protagonists, each with their own set of storylines and goals.
The mastered version will reintroduce several cutscenes that were omitted from Asellus’s scenario, some changes to graphics and UI system, and an additional main character Fuse, a patrolman for the InterRegional police Organization.
SaGa Frontier Remastered is heading to Steam, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile on the 15th of April.

Ashwalkers: A Survival Journey – 15th April (PC)

Walk into the unknown with Ashwalkers, a brand new post apocalyptic survival sim made by the co-founder of Dontnod. Journey through a harsh world without rules or judgement, manage your party’s food, equipment, and mental wellbeing as you make your way across the hellscape of a volcano ravaged Earth. Make meaningful choices in a non-linear narrative that would ultimately lead you down any of 34 different endings, each as jarring as the rest.
Ashwalkers: A Survival Journey is coming to Steam on the 15th of April.

Rain on Your Parade – 15th April (PC)

Do you feel like the world is a bit too peaceful lately? Create mayhem with Unbound Creations new physics game Rain on Your parade! Travel the world as a cute cardboard cloud and ruin everybody’s day by… well… raining on them. Literally. Explore 50 different levels with unique settings, abilities, and challenges, and make the world a wetter place!
Rain on Your parade will storm onto the Steam Store on the 15th of April.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… – 22nd April (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

The upgraded prequel to the highly regarded JRPG NieR Automata is coming soon. NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… puts you in the shoes of a kind young man living in a remote village. Everything was going well until his sister Yonah falls sick with the terminal disease “The Black Scrawl”. In an effort to save her, you set out with Grimoire Weiss, a strange talking tome to search for the “Sealed verses”, powerful spells that can be learned by Grimoire Weiss and unlock boundless power, hopefully one of which could cure your sister.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will be out on the 22nd of April on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.

MotoGP – 22nd April (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch)

New Pokémon Snap – 30th April (Nintendo Switch)

Want a relaxing trip away from the hustle and bustle of real life? You can try out BANDAI NAMCO’s new relaxing pokemon photography game New Pokemon Snap! Play as a trainer that has traveled to the islands the make up the Lental region. There a strange phenomenon has occured, making some Pokemon and vegetation produce a special glow. Team up with Professor Mirror and take in-game photographs of Pokemon in their native environments, be it dense jungles, vast deserts, and more. With your help, the professor might be able to unravel the truth behind the Illumina Phenomenon.
New Pokemon Snap is coming to Nintendo Switch on the 30th of April.

Returnal – 30th April (Nintendo Switch)

Turn back time in the upcoming third person roguelike shooter Returnal. Play as Selene, an astronaut who has crashlanded on a shape-shifting world. Selene must brave the barren landscape of an ancient civilization alone while fighting tooth and nail for survival and escape. If she succumbs to the environment, she’ll find herself right back where she started, and the world has changed…
The ever changing environment makes every playthrough unique, offering different tools and challenges, forcing players to adapt their strategies and decisions. Brought to life by stunning visual effects, experience a wide variety of gameplay from bullet-hell-esque combat to stealth based combat, you’ll enjoy every moment of this game.
Returnal comes to the PlaySation 5 on the 30th of April.
