Overwatch Free Weekend Starts This August 23

Overwatch has announced a free weekend for Overwatch ahead of the upcoming Gamescom 2018 this Tuesday and Blizzard Entertainment will reveal new content soon.

The free weekend will start this August 23 at 11 a.m. PT until August 27 at 11:59 p.m. PT and Overwatch is playable on all platforms like PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for free without the need of buying the base game. Players will have access to all 28 heroes, all maps, and even game modes such as Quick Play, Custom Games, and Arcade. Additionally, players will also be able to earn levels, receive seasonal Summer Games Loot Boxes, and unlock a variety of different customization options for their heroes. If you plan to buy the game, all progress you’ve made during the free weekend will be carried over to the full game.
