Game director Jeff Kaplan of Overwatch recently released a statement on the game’s official forum to address the issues of players using mouse and keyboard on gaming consoles. He disapprove the usage of mouse and keyboards with converters on consoles which could impact the game’s experience.
Players who are willing to spend on converters and with sophisticated technical know-how, gain unfair advantage by exploiting the use of ‘input conversion devices’ on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Aiming is more precise and faster using a mouse in first-person shooter games, when compared to a analog stick.
Blizzard contacted its partners, the console manufacturers, and expressed its concern about the use of these devices.
The Overwatch team objects to the use of mouse and keyboard on console. We have contacted both first-party console manufacturers and expressed our concern about the use of mouse and keyboard and input conversion devices. We have lobbied and will continue to lobby for first-party console manufacturers to either:
Disallow mouse and keyboard and input conversion devices or openly and easily support mouse and keyboard for all players.

I encourage you to reach out to the hardware manufacturers and express your concerns (but please do so in a productive and respectful way).
Overwatch is currently running the ‘Year of the Rooster‘ event for Chinese New Year which provide new cosmetic items and new gameplay mode for Overwatch until February 13th.
