Overwatch Reach 20 Million Milestone And Halloween Terror Starts Today
Blizzard has announced in a press release that Overwatch’s player count had surpassed 20 million players and the Halloween Terror event is now downloadable across all available platforms. From October 11th – November 1st, players can unlock over 100 new cosmetic treats from the special glowing jack-o’-lanterns loot boxes.
The loot boxes can be acquired by buying loot boxes or you can earn them for free. Alternatively, you can spend in-game credits to buy legendary class skins for Ana, Bastion, Hanzo, Junkrat, Mercy, Pharah, Reaper, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Soldier: 76, Symmetra and Zenyatta.
In addition to the Halloween-themed skins, hero’s profile icons, sprays, victory poses, emotes, highlight intros, skins, are also purchasable with in-game credits.
During this seasonal event, the new co-op brawl mode in ‘Junkenstein’s Revenge’ allows you to team up with three other players and defend Adlersbrunn castle against Junkenstein’s minions.
