Overwatch’s Second Animated Short Pits Widowmaker Against Tracer

After the decidedly Pixar-flavored animated short “Recall” featuring Winston, Blizzard is back with an action-packed animated short starring two of Overwatch‘s female heroes Widowmaker and Tracer.

“Alive” is decidedly a different tone from the last animated short as it shows off the sniper skills of the assassin Widowmaker who is trying to take out a target. With Tracer trying to protect a target, “Alive” sets up the conflict for the upcoming shooter between the heroes.

After the whole Tracer pose fiasco, it’s good to see her in action against one Widowmaker, who’s quite a badass in this short. With two more shorts on the way, we can’t wait to see what Blizzard has in store for us.
