Plains of Eidolon Is The Next Warframe Expansion
Warframe developer Digital Extremes has announced that a new expansion titled Plains of Eidolon, will be coming to the free-to-play cooperative third-person shooter, their biggest update to date. The open world called ‘Landscape’, is specifically designed to resemble an MMO, where players are able to pick up quests from a town called Cetus, do missions and collect loots, unlike the usual generated levels. Cetus is an instance where you can play solo or in a group of four and also the instance is able to support up to a maximum of 50 players.
Landscape comes with functioning day and night cycle where players gets to battle Grineer during the day and the towering monstrosity of the Eidolons during the night. Eidolons are similar to world bosses in MMO that can only be taken down with the help of other players.
Digital Extremes has not provide an official launch date for this expansion yet, but you can get a sneak preview in this 17 minutes gameplay footage below.
