PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Is Playable On The Xbox One Next Month
Bluehole and Microsoft have revealed that Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is coming to Xbox One on December 12th, 2017. The battle royale game will be released in the form of an early access through the Xbox Game Preview program.
Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is currently available exclusively for the Xbox One and the game will probably be launch to other console platforms at a later date. The game is a multiplayer online battle royale shooter where 100 players battle across towns for weapons, armor, and other in-game items. The map will shrink periodically and causing damage over time around the players, thus forcing them into close quarter battles until last man standing.
In celebration of PUBG’s upcoming launch on Xbox One, players will receive three limited edition cosmetic packs for the Xbox One version of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds:
– Warrior Pack
– Accessory Pack
– Tracksuit Pack
While Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds developer Bluehole is preparing for the Xbox One release, the company also plans to rollout the 1.0 version of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds on PC sometime in late December.
“Both versions are being developed at the same time, but they both have their own separate roadmaps,” said Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Corp chief executive Chang Han Kim. “Various Xbox One features and functionality will change and come online over time just like they have on PC, with our goal being to have both versions align to each other as soon as possible.”
Xbox One version of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds will cost $30 and is scheduled to launch on December 12th, 2017.
