PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Tournament Starts This Summer
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be hosting an eSports event this summer with a staggering $2 million prize pool on the line for worthy players. The PUBG Global Invitation 2018 will take place from July 25 till 29, 2018.
According to Polyon, this eSports tournament will be held this coming summer in Berlin, Germany, where 20 teams will compete for a $2 million prize pool. The Invitational will contain two world champions. One award is for first-player perspective, and another for third-person.
In 2017’s Gamescom Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Invitational was PUBG Corp first tournament and the company offered $350,000. For this upcoming tournament, the prize pool is raised up to $2 million for the winners. It was held in Germany back in August last year, with reputable teams from Cloud9, Team Liquid, Team Solomid and Luminosity Gaming, all gunning for the main prize.
