Monomi Park has announced that Slime Rancher is heading to PlayStation 4 in September and Skybound Games will publish the physical copies releases for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game has sold over 1.3 million copies since its release.
Slime Rancher is the tale of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky, young rancher who sets out for a life a thousand light years away from Earth on the ‘Far, Far Range’ where she tries her hand at making a living wrangling slimes. With a can-do attitude, plenty of grit, and her trusty vacpack, Beatrix attempts to stake a claim, amass a fortune, and avoid the continual peril that looms from the rolling, jiggling avalanche of slimes around every corner.
Players will be free to organize, grow food, upgrade the Vacpack, sell items to various NPCs, and further expand your economy through your creations. Her adventure isn’t entirely carefree, however, as Beatrix LeBeau’s ambition draws the attention of some not-so-friendly slimes who try to intervene at all costs.
