PlayStation VR’s Social Experiment Is Basically Saturday Morning Cartoons
With all the craze for VR gaming, we often forget that PlayStation VR can be used for more than just gaming. There’s also a social aspect to it and nothing showcased it more than PlayStation VR’s “social experiment”.
The “social experiment” is basically a social space where people can hang around and do activities such as playing mini-games, go dancing, and play musical instruments. Think of it as if PlayStation Home was made with Nintendo’s world design and South Park drawing in 3D.

While shooters, flight sims, and exploration games are at the forefront of VR gaming, we shouldn’t overlook gems like the PlayStation VR “social experiment” that proves virtual reality can be more than just a gaming accessory.
Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it’s a lot of fun!
The PlayStation VR will cost $399 and will launch in October 2016. A PlayStation Camera is required to use the device but is sold separately.
