PUBG Will Add More Damage To Its Blue Circle Of Death
The development team from the renown battle royale game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, intends to increase the damage to the blue zone to try and get players to concentrate on combat within the play area. The blue zone is a feature in the game where the play area shrinks slowly and anyone caught out of that area gradually takes damage over time.
“We have received a lot of feedback asking for improvement of the blue zone. We have decided to adjust the blue zone damage to encourage engagement inside of the play zone. From this new update, you will be able to focus more on the immediate, close-ranged skirmishes inside the play zone, instead of dealing with enemies outside of the play zone during the mid to late phases of the game. We would love to hear the responses regarding the changes from all members of our community once you’ve tried it in the test servers.”
Before deploying this update, the development team also announced that the test servers for the game’s 1.0 release will start in early November instead and not late October as originally intended. The first form of testing will probably likely be a minimum of three days of extensive testing of the game’s newest vaulting and climbing features, followed by bug fixes and optimizations which will have to be analyzed.
These upcoming few weeks will be crucial as the game heads towards an official launch, and the development team is expecting to see the test servers highly utilized when the time comes.
