PUBG x BLACKPINK Collab Event Details

In recent news, there has been a lot of collaborations between video games and celebrities that seems like a new digital wave in the industry. For example, we’ve got Fortnite and Ariana Grande’s Rift Tour, even Cristiano Ronaldo’s with his Free Fire collab.

After a successful crossover event with PUBG Mobile last year, it seems that BLACKPINK is back again with another collaboration with PUBG. This time with a wide variety of BLACKPINK themed items for BLINKS to enjoy on both console and PC.

All of these will be available from August 8 to September 7 for PC users and August 12 to September 15 for console users.

Decals on Buildings

Where to find: Normal Matches, Esports Mode and Ranked

Available Maps: Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi

The decals say ‘BLACKPINK IS HERE’ in their colour scheme and a graffiti font.

Airplane Tail Banner

Where to find: Normal Matches, Esports Mode and Ranked

Available Maps: Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Karakin, Taego

The airplane tail has ‘BLACKPINK IS HERE’ on it in their colour scheme. Do note that it is not available on emergency landing planes.

Supply Crate with Pink Smoke

Where to find: Normal Matches only

Available Maps: Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Karakin, Taego

During the event, the colour of the smoke will turn pink and the crate will be transformed into BLACKPINK’s colour scheme (except for colour blind mode), with their logo on it. These supply crates will be dropped all over the map, with a chance for you to find a BLACKPINK Level 3 helmet.

PUBG x BLACKPINK Items

There are a total of 38 items available in this collaboration. Each member’s bundle includes hair, clothing, weapons, emotes and nameplate items. Their face items are not included.

The BLACKPINK Mega Bundle includes all of the members’ bundles, BLACKPINK Spray and Parachute. If you’re a superfan, this might be where your target would be.

BLACKPINK Special Drops Event

For this Special Drops event, all you have to do is complete all the missions and collect your rewards. The mission descriptions, points and rewards are as follows:

Parachute (20 points): Parachute 600m in total.
Survive 15 minutes (25 points): Survive 15 minutes in a single match, time includes spectating teammates.
Heal Up (25 points): Heal 250 total health.
Top 10 (30 points): Reach the top 10.

Rewards:

700 points – BLACKPINK Helmet Level 3

600 points – BLACKPINK Backpack Level 3

200 points – Contraband Coupon x10

Based on PUBG’s official site, there will be upcoming events for PUBG players to win real BLACKPINK Level 3 helmets and signed CDs in the future, so keep an eye out for that! It’s a nice surprise that BLACKPINK would collaborate once more with PUBG, and we hope that this would be a recurring thing in the future.
