Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered won’t contain multiplayer and word is only the single-player campaign is going to be included in the remaster. This information comes from sources close to CharlieIntel and according to the files, it seems that the remaster isn’t being managed by Raven Software and the game will not have any multiplayer mode.
Last week a listing were published on Amazon’s Italian website that showed Modern Warfare 2 remaster slated to release this spring. Along with a release date for April 30 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, a price of €19.99 was shown.
The studio which managed the original Modern Warfare Remaster will not be involved this time around, with rumors floating that Beenox, the studio which helped Raven last year, will take charge for this remaster.
Evidently, none of this is confirmed yet and if there is no multiplayer mode in the coming remaster, that would be a huge surprise coming from Activision, when microtransactions seems to be the norm for AAA titles.
