Capcom is planning a big Resident Evil blowout on Jan. 21, including all-new details on Resident Evil Village, the next major entry in the survival horror game franchise. Thursday’s Resident Evil Showcase promises a “guided tour” of Resident Evil Village, which means a new trailer and our first look at gameplay.
Resident Evil Village is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Ethan’s world suddenly comes crashing down once again when Chris Redfield, an unexpected yet familiar face makes an appearance, setting off a chain of events that sees a distraught Ethan seeking answers to Chris’s shocking actions, and ultimately finding him in a mysterious village.
