Riot Games Giving Away a Ton of Free Content to Game Pass Subscribers

Riot Games reveals tons of free content coming soon to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service for a variety of popular games.

Xbox Game Pass is home to a vast library of games ranging from the original console to the latest games for Xbox Series X|S. Xbox Game Pass receives new games and partnerships on a monthly basis where to provide new and experiences alike to their subscribers. Riot Games is one of the partnership with Xbox Game Pass brings free content that some of the most famous games on PC.

During the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, Riot Games participated as one of the new partners of Xbox Game Pass for PC and mobile. Riot Games revealed tons of free content for Xbox Game Pass subscribers in League of Legends, League of Legends: Wild Rift; Legends of Runeterra; Team Fight Tactics, and Valorant. Those free content includes character unlocks across all the games and Xbox Game Pass subscribers may take advantage of its starting this winter.

Riot Games teased more free content alongside the character unlocks for Xbox Game Pass. It’s expected Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also receive cosmetics and other digital products to strengthen their Riot Games experience on PC and mobile. Nevertheless, the announcement by Riot Games does not support native Xbox console versions of games such as League content through Xbox Game Pass.

The announcement has benefited to Xbox Game Pass as the subscription service gains another partner in Riot Games especially, PC Game Pass subscribers and mobile gamers have been calling for more games and support for the several platforms.

Nonetheless, Xbox Series X|S players will not be able to gain the free content since the Riot Games titles are available on PC and mobile only. Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC and mobile will get a major head start in Valorant and League of Legends at the very least.
