Rocket League’s Heatseeker Mode is heading to Online Matches next week on April 16.
In Heatseeker, the ball will automatically seek the opposing net once it’s hit. If the ball hits the backboard, it will fire back toward your goal. Make sure to think fast, because every time the ball is touched by a player or a backboard, it gains speed! First team to seven goals wins.
In addition to the new mode, players will also receive a free login item. Just by logging into Rocket League at any time while Heatseeker is live, players can get the Hypnoteks Player Banner. Matches played in Heatseeker will grant the same amount of XP as Casual, Competitive, or Extra Mode playlists, so players will still be able to unlock the Rocket Pass 6 Tiers. Heatseeker Mode starts April 16 through April 20.
