Psyonix announced that Rocket League’s latest update is set to change the game’s XP and progression systems, will be available to all platforms on August 29.
With the new update, there are several changes that players need to take note of. The company states that the level 75 cap will be removed and XP can only be earned through online play. In addition to that, players can also earn new in-game Titles upon reaching a certain milestone and there will be reduction on the amount of XP needed to level up. In case you’re wondering, all existing titles on a player will remain with them.
The Progression Update will include ‘Clubs’, an in-game social feature that allows players to organize, form their own clubs with their friends and play together under a custom tag. The maximum membership for Clubs is 20 players. In the matter of Rocket Pass, which functions similar to Battle Pass in other games, will go live the week after the Progression Update is released.
