GTA 6 apparently will feature an original female lead character and is going to be set in or around Miami, Rockstar’s version of south Florida, called Vice City. According to a new report from The Know, GTA 6 will take place in two locations and might launch in late 2022.
For the very first time in the GTA universe, GTA 6 will feature a female character as the protagonist, even though there’s not much details released as of now on whether players will be able to control more than one protagonist like in GTA 5.
In terms of a release date, the game is reportedly will take 3-4 years to develop. Based on The Know’s ‘inside source’, GTA 6 is known internally at Rockstar studio as Project Americas. For the time being, nothing is concrete and these rumors should be taken with a pinch of salt.
