The war between Android and iOS could be over as developer and Tendigi CTO Nick Lee shows off a custom case that allows you to run Android on an iPhone.
The way it works is that the phone case houses hardware that’s capable of running an Android OS while a custom Tendigi app on the iPhone boots up by connecting via the Lightning port and emulates the Android operating system interface.
While it looks pretty cool, it doesn’t seem like the custom phone case will be mass produced anytime soon as it’s just a conceptual product and can’t really function in the real world.
You can check out the process in which Lee was able to create the custom case over at Tendigi’s blog here.
