Civilization VI narrator Sean Bean didn’t realize that his character dies in the game trailer, until video game developer Firaxis Games pointed out that his game character was gunned down in an aerial battle.
Sean Bean has been killed off so many times the star doesn’t take it to heart and seems to acknowledge that his memes will be his unintended legacy for the actor.
Sean was interviewed in this behind the scenes video where he talks about his experience narrating a video game and not knowing what he’s working on. It is not uncommon in the video game industry for actors to provide voice work for a game without ever knowing anything about the game.
