Sega Rerelease Shenmue 1 and Shenmue 2 This August

Sega will launch Shenmue 1 and 2 bundle that contains latest ports of the initial two Shenmue games, on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

Shenmue 1 and 2 bundle is priced at $29.99 and pre-orders are currently available on Steam, Xbox Store and also on major retailers such as Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy and lots more. Creator of the series, Yu Suzuki, is currently focusing on a new sequel in the franchise, Shenmue 3, for which he had raised over $6 million on Kickstarter in 2015. Around that time, developer Ys Net planned to publish the game by the end of 2017, however, the company has postponed multiple times and right now, Shenmue 3 is scheduled for a 2019 launch.

Apparently the PC version of the game saves can be carried over from Shenmue to Shenmue 2, and saving anywhere in-game has been made possible. In addition, new post-processing effects, improved UI and HD resolution rendering is also available in both games. Players can can choose from either English or Japanese in both games, and PC players can look forward to both full controller and configurable mouse and keyboard support.

Shenmue 1 and 2 rerelease is expected to launch on August 21, 2018.
