Shred more than 60 real skate spots connected by block after block of plazas, schools, pools, buildings, car parks and corridors, like the LA Courthouse featured in early access. You can even play as skating icons Tiago Lemos, Evan Smith, Tom Asta or Brandon Westgate on your way to becoming a skateboarding pro.
Skater XL is unique in that it doesn’t have any tricks programmed into it, only control of the movement through the thumbsticks. Each thumbstick is connected to the corresponding foot of the skater and as the player moves the stick, the board instantly responds. Much like a musical instrument, the player has complete freedom, whether it be pushing to nail a line or skating free from. This however means that you’ll need a controller to play. The game does not support keyboard inputs.
