Developers Easy Day Studios has recently announced that their skating simulator Skater XL is getting a Multiplayer Free Skate mode open beta on Steam! Check out the open beta announcement video below:
The new mode will be available as open beta today on Steam. It will allow up to 10 players to join in a free skate session together to hangout, explore different lines together and create group party line replays. This is the next step in expanding the game’s planned social ecosystem and will be added to the PlayStation and Xbox consoles soon.
Supporting up to 10 skaters at a time, Skater XL’s Multiplayer Free Skate is available now as an open beta to stress test the online system and servers. Player feedback will be gathered to fine-tune the experience before the official Free Skate mode launches on all platforms.
