Slay to the Beat with Rhythm FPS Metal Hellsinger in 2021

During the Guerrilla Collective show, Funcom presented a look at pre-alpha gameplay of Metal: Hellsinger. Check out a gameplay trailer below:

The game is a mix between a FPS and a rhythm game coming in 2021 for PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

It’s directed by David Goldfarb, whom you may know for Payday 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and narrated by well-known actor Troy Baker (Joel in The Last of Us among many other roles). Development is done by Sweden-based studio The Outsiders.

You play as the Unknown, a demon-human hybrid embarking on a mission through hell to vanquish the Red Judge. Defeat the demon hordes with a skull-clad blade or a wide range of murderous guns. Each weapon has its own ultimate ability, such as Murder of Crows or The Big Goodbye.

Although commonly known as Hell, The Infernal Planes is in reality a union of a thousand Hells, all of which are terrifying and diabolical in their own way. In order to dethrone The Red Judge, you must fight your way through the fiercest corners, from the icy world of Voke to the maddening world of Stygia.
