Developer Psyonix has rolled out its latest cross-platform play support for PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and the long-awaited PlayStation 4.
Rocket League has entered the PlayStation Cross-Play Beta program and players are now able to play together and matchmake with or against each other in “Casual”, “Competitive”, and also “Extra Modes”, regardless of platforms across the world.
Should players want to play with friends on other platforms, just select “Play” from the “Main Menu,” then “Private Match,” followed by “Create” or “Join Private Match” and that’s it. Psyonix has planned to release the mixed-platform parties support as part of Rocket League’s first update for 2019. However, the company has yet to provide a release date for the update.
