Source Claims Halo Infinity Planned for E3

Based on Thurrott.com’s executive editor Brad Sams, Microsoft might be showcasing a new Halo game which may be known as Halo Infinity at E3.

Sams is known to be reliable with his report in regards to Microsoft-related scoops. Although Sams did not share any other details, it is safe to assume Microsoft is likely to prepare a Halo announcement at the upcoming E3 show. Over three years have passed since Halo 5 came out, so it is about time developer 343 industries came on stage and introduce something to the gamers.

To recap, the Infinity is the ship UNSC constructed using Forerunner technology. The ship heavily featured in the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5. Infinity might not mean anything, and the name could be an indication that we are looking at Halo as a service, an evolving game similar to Destiny, or perhaps one that receives content updates regularly while still being made up of Halo’s different multiplayer modes. Microsoft’s E3 press conference will take place this Sunday.
