SpyParty Is Coming To Steam After A Decade Of Development

SpyParty is a competitive spy game about subtle human behavior has been in development since 2009, and the game has finally make its way to Steam on April 12.

The spy game is set at a high society party and it is about subtle behavior, perception, and deception, instead of guns, car chases, and explosions. One player will play as the Spy, trying to accomplish missions while blending into the crowd. The other player will be playing as the Sniper, who has one bullet with which to find and eliminate the Spy.

The Steam Early Access release will include the new tutorial that will help players learn how to play the game, how to quietly and stealthily play as a spy, and what subtle animations and tells to watch out for as the sniper. The tutorial walks players through some of the spy’s missions, like how to make contact with a double agent at the party and swap a statue out for a fake while remaining undetected.

SpyParty is priced at $15 at the game’s official website and we could expect a price increase when the game hits Steam’s Early Access. With the purchase of Early Access for SpyParty, players will receive all the updates during development, and the final version as well when it is officially released.
