Star Wars: Hunters Has Update The Release Date
Zynga’s upcoming Star Wars title, Star Wars: Hunters, has made a change date with the title now set come in 2023.
Star Wars: Junters has been developing since the reveal back during the Nintendo Direct in 2021. The game was announced as a competitive arena title and was set to introduce a different take on the gameplay loop of the Star Wars games. The title was targeted to launch later this year, however, the developed has announced that the release date has been delayed to next year.
Star Wars: Hunters is a forthcoming free-to-play competitive arena title set to publish on Android, iOS, and the Nintendo Switch. Among these three different modes, the game allows up to eight players will battle for supremacy using a variety of different classes and abilities that Star Wars fans are familiar with, and love in a gameplay loop akin to titles like League of Legends or Paladins.
Zynga published the delayed announcement through their official Twitter account, where they highlight the desire to create a competitive battle arena game that is able to entertain for years to come. The delay also comes from the team’s desire as they pursue higher expectations and make sure every player has the best possible experience in the Arena.

The announcement also mentioned the state of the soft launch of Star Wars: Hunters, whereas the team work towards next year’s release date. The soft launch version will continue to see the content updates come to Star Wars: Hunters with a new update in the next few weeks. The soft launch version is only available on Android devices in India, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
