Risen is a single-player fantasy-themed action role-playing game developed by Piranha Bytes and published by Deep Silver. The series is continued by Risen 2: Dark Waters and Risen 3: Titan Lords and is available on Steam and Xbox.

Risen provides the players a great role-playing experience with an exotic location of the Mysterious Volcanic Island where the heavy tremors on the island bode ill for its inhabitants.

In this game, the player will need to survive the shipwreck which will leave him stranded on the volcanic island alone. He finds himself amidst a chaos of rebellion, tyranny and mystic rituals and must now decide to which side the pendulum of fate will swing.
